Main businesses
The Company and its subsidiaries principally provide end-to-end Information and Communications Technology solutions. This includes the research, design, manufacture and marketing of telecom network equipment, IT products and solutions, cloud technology and services, digital power products and solutions, intelligent vehicle solutions, and smart devices for telecom carriers, enterprises, and consumers.
Research and innovation
In 2025, the company invested CNY192.3 billion back into R&D, which accounted for 21.8% of its annual revenue. Altogether, the company's R&D investment over the past decade amounts to CNY1.382 trillion.
By the end of 2025, Huawei held a total of 165,000 active patents and had signed over 260 patent licensing and cross-license agreements with many of the world’s largest patent holders.
